Halloween Party Centerpieces
Having a Halloween bash? Create a pumpkin centerpiece for the tables.
Take small pumpkins and cut out the inside. Take a plastic liner (like gift basket wraps) and put inside the hollow pumpkin. Fill the pumpkin dishes with candy. You can also do the same thing for food. Put chips, and other things inside. Saves on dishes, and you can throw away after the party!

Bats & Spiders
Conjure up miniature bats and spiders to live in the mansion and hang life-size versions in your doorway to greet visitors face-to-face.
Supplies:
Scissors
Black foam sheets
Glue
Googly eyes
Fishing line
Masking and Scotch tape
Tack (optional)
Step 1:
Cut bat and spider shapes from the black foam sheets (design your own or click here to print out our pattern).
Step 2:
Glue on googly eyes and suspend the creatures with fishing line and tape. We suggest Scotch tape on the bodies and masking tape on the hanging surface. Another option is to poke 2 holes in the body with a
tack, thread the line through, knot it in back, and use masking tape on the hanging surface only.
Scented Pumpkins
Supplies:
Construction Paper
Scissors
Markers, crayons
Glue or Stapler
Cotton Balls
Perfume
Take 2 pieces of construction paper and cut out 2 very large pumpkins at the same time. The large the pumpkins the better.
Decorate the one side of each Pumpkin.
Spray perfume on cotton balls.
Staple or glue around edges of pumpkins, leaving an opening at the stem
Stuff the cotton balls inside.
Seal the opening.
Use as decoration anywhere!
Cheesecloth Ghosts
What you need for those are lots of cheesecloth, fabric stiffener or white glue, googly eyes (available in craft stores), balloons, drinking glasses, and nylon thread or fishing line (optional).
First, blow up the balloons and set them in the drinking glasses; this will provide a form for you to mold the ghosts around. Cut squares about 12-14" of double layers of cheesecloth. Dilute the fabric stiffener or white glue 1:1 with water, dip the cheesecloth squares in the glue mixture and wring out the excess. Drape the cheesecloth on the balloon in a ghostly shape. You can have the ghost's hemline trail the table for a standup ghost, or you can have a sheer drop for a flying ghost. Let dry overnight.
When dry, remove the balloons, glue on the googly eyes and attach nylon thread to the beads of any ghosts you want to fly through the air. Hang the flying ghosts wherever appropriate! The standup ghosts can stand on a table.
Thanks - April
