New Driver...more ideas
To further the suggestion on a car for a sixteen year old: How about putting together a car kit for a new
driver. Maybe include a visor organizer, CD holder for the car, Car
wash gift certificate, Oil Change gift certificate, emergency flares,
etc...
Thanks - Jill, Austin - TX

Taking a Class, a Step Further...
I took your idea to give my daughter art class as a
gift, but I took it a step further and joined the class
too. The result was very nice, although we create
differently, we had time to talk and share. Our
relationship is better and she wasn't embarrassed to be
hanging out with "mom."

Get Away, Be Together I've found a great gift is an experience share
together. Fishing, hiking, or doing something where I
get a chance to learn too like going to a planetarium or
science museum. One tip: leave the cell phones, friends,
and modern conveniences behind or at least put them
away. It's really not how much you spend, but about
sharing the time and the experience.
Thanks - Melinda, Georgia
