Her Along
A few years ago I received Roses for Valentine's
Day. Each bud was fully open. In the center of each
rosebud was 1 pearl. The day after Valentine's Day
my boyfriend took me to a jewelry store and the pearls were all strung together and made into a
necklace. He added a diamond clasp to complete
the necklace perfectly!

Dozen Roses and ...
Two years ago on Valentines day, my husband came to our new
home. He opened the door, looked at me doing the dishes and said, I
told you I would do them when I got home. He told me to come out side,
handed me a dozed roses and asked me not to be mad at him. He said he
started out going to the store for a sponge and soap, and said, screw
it and bought me a dishwasher for Valentines day. It is the best gift I
ever got for Valentines day. Its his machine and now I am not allowed
to touch it or the dishes. A women's dream come true.

Little Red Corvette
I met my husband two weeks before
Valentine's Day. I was seventeen and in love with corvettes. I told him one day in jest, that I
would love the man that bought me a Corvette forever and on
Valentines day that year and every year since I get a new
Hot Wheels Corvette. It's eleven years later.

Days of ...
Having a special ed child and twins was making it harder
and harder to spend some quality time with my husband. In light of
this I decided the night before February 1st that what I needed was a
whole new way of looking at the holiday. The 14 Days of Valentines was
what I came up with.
February 1st: Make a Candlelight Dinner
2nd: Send a Singing Telegram to Work
3rd: Put a Valentines Bear in his truck
4th: Run a Bath complete with bubbles
5th: Send him Flowers to work
6th: Hire sitter for Dinner out
7th: Put Love Note on bathroom mirror
8th: Hire sitter and talk a Walk near a lake
9th: Take Baked Goods to work for him and his co-workers
10th: Give him a heart filled with Sweets
11th: Watch a Movie together and cuddle
12th: Hide a Love note in his lunch box
13th: Give him a massage
14th: Take the "kisses" tags out of a bag of
Hershey's kisses and place them in a box. You can put the candy in a bowl to enjoy together.
Wrap the box in valentines paper and give it to him with this note:
For every ticket within you are entitled to one kiss...and if you're
really good I'll throw in a hug.
My husband really appreciated the lengths I went to to make our
Valentines really enjoyable.

Kiss,
Kiss, Kiss
Last Valentine's Day, I bought two bags of
Hershey's kisses with Red and Silver foil. Then,
I took out each of the papers inside and cut out
my own papers for each kiss. Each paper strip
said, "I love you because....", each
with a different reason. I put them in a bag,
and my boyfriend said he loved it because he got
to get a warm fuzzy every day.

Swept Away
For our
first Valentines Day, I bought two red roses, a box of rose petals, a mylar
balloon, and gift certificates. After I left my
boyfriend's house, I went to my car grabbed the
Valentine gifts and laid them across the hood of boyfriends white Chevy S10.
I placed the certificates under the windshield wipers and
tied the balloon to his side mirror and went home. In the
morning, it started raining before he had a chance to
discover the gifts! I had to call him to get the roses
and petals before they floated away. He was so happy that I
went through all that trouble and the whole neighborhood
saw he was my Valentine.
